So much has happened...
well, it has been about 2 weeks since i last blogged my thoughts but i've been really busy...My buddy from Singapore, Jeremy Lim, got his wings and before he left we spent his last few days going through stuff, getting rid of stuff and packing a hell lot. And i also started my groundschool. There's so much to do. Have been staying late in the squadron to study and do up my charts. Been waking up as early as 6am everyday to go for classes and return home as late as 9pm almost everyday...and the coming week is so going to be worse.
Spent the weekend packing the house, washing the clothes, studying up...Went to the squadron on saturday to get ahead of my class and today, i just came back from Victor's place (class leader), went there to finish up some charts and got to know the fellow abit better...He's a good Catholic, single father who has it bad...he has so many things to juggle while finishing up the course and talking to him made me realise i really don't have it all that bad...
Came down with the flu, a very bad one. Even had a night where i had to wake up in the middle of the night cos i got chest pains...feeling a whole lot better now though. Had a good chat with Huimin as well, which didn't end too good...and with Rebecca as well, which also didn't end up too good. But one thing that made this whole week great was having to talk to Sharon. She's a really great gal, what can i say. Easy to talk to, cheers me up, and has really great views of life.
I don't think she knows it but she's very intellectual and her views on life are very different and unique...a breath of fresh air...a very interesting individual to have a really great conversation with. i think i might be getting a wee bit distracted by her...haha but focus...focus...main mission - get wings of gold...
So yeah there...oh yeah i also helped Jeremy sell his Mitsubitshi 3000GT. This one guy was offering Jemz 700 bucks and i told Jemz i'd help him fetch a better price...and i did...just a few days later...got it sold for 1200...so in just afew days, Jemz made 500 more...kinda proud of the fact though...but Jemz has really been a great brother...though i'm older...hahaha
Argh...i really got to do something about this cough...Pei Pah Kow....ok, need to go sleep and get up early tomorrow for classes again...must must must must must make some MORE my own time to pen down the happenings of the week...
things to do...wash my damn car, find out more places to pawn my stuff before i leave, study the NATOPS, finish my charts, study Emergency Procedures and limitations...work work work...so busy...all in the attempt to get my wings faster than usual...by Aug 06 hopefully...and yeah...forgot to add that i'm the first batch of Universal Hybrid Syllabus...meaning they tookout some flights and i will begin to fly on the weekend...meaning...getting my wings earlier than usual...my new word - SWEEEEEEEETTTTT!!!
oh..and there's NIIICCCEEE!!! too..hahaha till we meet again... yes, here are the pictures of the bike models i got...waiting for Ricky to take some pics of the models he has and send to me...RICKY!!!
Oh, and before i forget...I learnt something new this week. You know why you have to put the lid on when boiling male lobsters and not female? Well, here it is...when the male lobster knows he's being bolied, it will get together with the other male lobster, make like a ladder and help each other out of the pot...whereas female lobsters, when the heat gets to them, the female lobster hang on to the other female lobsters, preventing them from getting out (The "if i go down, all of you will go down with me'" attitude)...For real...go read up on it yourself...freaky but true...guys just seem to instinctively know about camaraderie
Jermz out!
